We are pleased to announce that F&X Electro-Materials, Ltd. has been certified by an independent body to be free of conflict materials.

For several years it has been the policy of F&X not to purchase any mineral products that might have come from conflict areas in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). An independent audit has now declared that F&Xis a Conflict Free Smelter(CFS). We are pleased by this recognition.

The audit was conducted by an independent third party selected by the Electronics Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC) and the Global e-Sustainability Initiative (GeSI). This program is part of an industry wide program to certify the origin of materials prior to entering the electronics industry supply chain. In order to pass the audit F&X had a documented policy regarding conflict materials (see the conflict materials section of our website) and documents showing the origin of all of their tantalum materials and documenting are from non-conflict sources. 

We will maintainour company policy on conflict materials and work closely with EICC-GeSI and the TIC for the healthy and sustainable development of the tantalum industry.
